Gold Coast
The Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service delivers health services across more than 20 facilities, including 3 hospitals and 2 health precincts.

Metro North
The Metro North Hospital and Health Service delivers health services to people from north of the Brisbane River to north of Kilcoy.

Cairns and Hinterland
The Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service includes 9 hospitals, 11 primary health sites and 9 community health centres. It also includes mental health facilities and specialist services.

Central Queensland
Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service provides hospital and aged care services and community clinics for around 230,000 people living in their regional and remote communities.
From the southern islands of the Great Barrier Reef to the outback towns of Emerald and Springsure, Central Queensland has it all. Darling Downs
The Darling Downs Hospital and Health Service provides hospital services, as well as community and primary health services from 26 locations.
The Darling Downs region covers an expansive area. It reaches from the cool-climate Granite Belt in the south, to the sun-drenched South Burnett in the north. The Granite Belt is Queensland’s premier wine region while South Burnett also has its own flourishing produce scene.
The region also extends west in an arc from Goondiwindi to Chinchilla and its spectacular sunsets are reflected in the sparkling network of rivers, dams and creeks.
Toowoomba is at the heart of the region and is the second largest inland Australian city.

Mackay
The Mackay Hospital and Health Service provides health services in a range of regional, community and rural settings.
The Mackay region is home to Australia’s longest stretch of subtropical rainforest. It also boasts a multitude of breath-taking and pristine national parks. In this region, you’ll also find the Whitsundays, the island chain famous for their rugged, green-clad islands, blue waters and white sands.

Townsville
The Townsville Hospital and Health Service has 21 facilities including 19 hospitals and community health campuses and 2 residential aged care facilities.
Townsville is a once quiet coastal town that has become a modern regional centre. It ranges from the Great Barrier Reef and its tropical islands, to the lush rainforests and World Heritage listed national parks. It's a place to discover, appreciate and immerse yourself in nature. It’s the largest urban centre north of the Sunshine Coast and has one of the country's largest army barracks.

West Moreton
The West Moreton Hospital and Health Service provides preventative services, acute care, sub-acute care and oral health, mental health and other specialised services.
Spanning from Boonah in the south, Esk in the north, Gatton in the west and metropolitan Ipswich in the east, the West Moreton region is both culturally and geographically diverse. Encompassing the western region of the Scenic Rim and the Lockyer Valley, West Moreton boasts spectacular landscapes, stunning national parks, rich farming and agricultural history, and a laid back, country lifestyle. The area is also home to the Cobb & Co Tourist Drive which celebrates the early days of stage coach transportation in Queensland.

Wide Bay
The Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service delivers quality, patient and family focused health services that reflect the needs of the Wide Bay community.

Rural and Remote areas
Central West
The Central West Hospital and Health Service operates 15 facilities including the District Hospital in Longreach, 4 inpatient facilities and 10 Primary Health Centres.
Known as the "heart of the outback", the Central West region is a place built by pioneers and stockmen. The area is full of history, being the proud birthplace of Qantas and Waltzing Matilda. The area is home to the Thomson River, where you can cruise on a paddle steamer and watch the iconic burnt orange outback sunsets.

North West
The North West Hospital and Health Service works closely with communities to improve the health of people across North West Queensland.

South West
The South West Hospital and Health Service is a rural and remote health service committed to providing quality, dependable, safe and sustainable healthcare.
Known as the place "where country meets the outback", the South West region has Roma at its heart. It’s the closest part of the outback to Brisbane and is a kaleidoscope of colour, with red sands, thriving wetlands and national parks. The region has a rich agricultural history, with the largest cattle selling facility in Australia. It also plays an important role in the oil and gas industry.

Torres and Cape
The Torres and Cape Hospital and Health Service is one of Australia's largest providers of health services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
This area includes the Cape York and Torres Strait regions and covers the northern most points of Australia. This remote tropical paradise is full of hidden wonders including amazing wildlife and extraordinary landscapes. The area includes rugged national parks and rainforests, coral reefs, pristine waterways, secluded beaches and rich Indigenous culture.
