Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Workforce (Queensland Health) Certified Agreement (No. 2) 2023 (HWF EB2)
The Queensland Industrial Relations Commission (QIRC) certified the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Workforce (Queensland Health) Certified Agreement 2023 (HWF EB2) on 21 June 2024 and the agreement is effective from this date.
We have been able to fast-track implementation of the 4% pay increase (for the first year of the agreement) and it will be paid, along with some HWF EB2 allowances in accordance with wages, in your fortnightly pay on 3 July 2024.
The first year pay increase is effective from 1 September 2023, meaning eligible employees will also receive a back payment in a lump sum on 3 July 2024.
We are working hard to ensure all other terms of the new HWF EB2 agreement are implemented as soon as possible, and we will communicate planned timings as they are confirmed over the coming months.
