As a medical scientist graduate, you’ll work alongside skilled and experienced medical scientists. You’ll learn about pathology, including haematology, transfusion, microbiology, biochemistry and phlebotomy.
You can apply for our graduate program if you finished your degree in Medical Laboratory Science within the last 24 months. And you haven’t had any laboratory experience in a scientist role.
As well as scientific training, we’ll help you develop leadership and team building skills. You’ll also be able to apply for funding to continue your education.
You’ll do your training in one of our large laboratories across the state – anywhere from Cairns to the Gold Coast. If we can, we’ll put you in one of your preferred locations. If we can’t, we’ll talk to you before we offer you a position.
