Queensland Rural Advanced Skills Training Pathway
Each year, the pathway recruits medical officers for advanced skills training in obstetrics and gynaecology, mental health, palliative care, internal medicine, paediatrics and anaesthetics. To find out more about the Queensland Rural Advanced Skills Training Pathway, visit the Rural AST website.
Trainees can apply in their second or third postgraduate year (PGY2 or PGY3) and start training the year after. You can apply for advanced skills training through the Resident Medical Officer (RMO) campaign.
