The program covers:
- the key subspecialty topics that are relevant to the clinical exam
- common mistakes in the long case and short case
- practical advice on exam preparation.
The course is an adjunct to other clinical exam preparation, for example hospital based long case and short case preparation. It doesn’t include live long or short case presentations.
In 2024 the course content will be delivered over a series of evenings and a weekend.

The course program is developed by a committee of clinicians and coordinated by the Queensland Basic Physician Training Network.

$400 (incl. GST) Interstate & overseas trainees
$300 (incl. GST) Queensland trainees
$150 (incl. GST) for current exam-sitting trainees from the following Queensland hospitals (as of term 1, 2024): Bundaberg, Cairns, Hervey Bay, Mackay, Rockhampton, Townsville
