Obstetric medicine training in Queensland uses a centralised statewide recruitment process. Obstetric medicine physicians from each hospital with advanced training accredited positions support the selection process.

As part of your training you’ll:
- provide high quality inpatient and outpatient medical services in an obstetric medicine department

You may also:
- work an after hours roster based on your hospital
- do a research project
- rotate between hospitals.
You must do at least 6 months of your training at either the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital or the Mater Mothers’ Hospital.
