About the workshop
Our rural generalist trainee workshop prepares our trainees for working in rural and remote settings.
During this 2 and a half day workshop you’ll:
- learn and practise procedural skills
- take part in clinical scenarios
- review and discuss case studies
- join in group discussion forums.
We’ll give you the skills you need to practice rural medicine safely. You’ll also get a chance to network with other trainees and senior experienced rural generalists.
This is an in person workshop. There aren’t any formal assessment activities, and you’ll get a statement of attendance at the end of the program.
The workshop will count towards your rural generalist medicine prevocational certification.
