About the workshop
Our postgraduate rural education and development (PRED) workshop equips you with skills for rural practice.
During the 2 day workshop you’ll:
- join practical sessions and simulation-based learning
- take part in case discussions and panel sessions
- engage in career development opportunities
- reflect of the human aspects of rural healthcare.
You’ll also get a chance to network with your peers and senior experienced rural generalists.
Who can attend
This workshop is for:
- trainees who entered the pathway as a postgraduate
- people doing advanced skills training or preparing for their first rural training placement.

Costs
This course is free for our rural generalist trainees. We’ll also book and pay for your accommodation and flights if you need them.
