About our workshops
We offer introductory workshops to help prepare you for your advanced skills training.
The workshops are run in person by experienced rural generalist and non-GP specialists over 3 or 5 days, depending on the discipline.
There aren’t any assessment activities. You’ll get pre-reading before the workshop and a statement of attendance after.
Who can attend
Workshops are for Queensland Rural Generalist Pathway (QRGP) trainees or rural registrars who are about to start an advanced skill training position.
Doctors who aren’t QRGP trainees can apply if they have an upcoming advanced skills training position.
We give priority to Queensland applicants, but you can also apply if you’ll be doing advanced skills training in another state.
