Applying for advanced skills training
Each year, we run a campaign to recruit medical officers for advanced skills training in obstetrics and gynaecology, mental health, palliative care, internal medicine, paediatrics and anaesthetics.
You can apply for other disciplines through the Resident Medical Officer (RMO) campaign or through your college.
Most trainees apply in their second or third postgraduate year (PGY2 or PGY3) and start training the year after. The right time to apply is when you're ready, both personally and professionally. Talk with our team and your college to help you decide when to apply.
